My favourite Bridal collection - Vera Wang Fall 2012
Now I really do love each and every one of these dresses. The detail in each of them is incredible and the designer hasn’t been repetitive in the collection. The nude and black has been carried throughout the gowns as well as the use of tulle and scalloping. I am more favourable of the nude dresses however, but the black one’s would make lovely evening gowns. I am so excited about this collection, it’s a shame I’ll never be able to afford to buy anything in it.
Light, airy, concoctions of froth…. inspired by black and nude undergarments, both mysterious and sexy, frivolous and fun, with transparent wisps of carefully organized tulle.
To start a charcoal mermaid gown with micropleated bodice and sheared organza full skirt. A somewhat Gothic option for your wedding day but beautiful nonetheless.
Strapless ball gown gown with organza laddering. A statement gown for your wedding day.

Strapless full A-line gown with a pleated tulle skirt, swirled ruffle and asymmetrical sheared flounce. And I’ve noticed how none of these “wedding gowns” are actually white, or even ivory.

Strapless chantilly lace ball gown with veiled tulle overlay. One of my favourites, the tulle layering is beautiful and I love the delicate black lace.

V-neck halter ball gown with chantilly lace bodice and distressed organza and shadow lace flowers at neck and multilayered crinkle tulle skirt. The nude and black go together perfectly.

Strapless collapsed A-line gown with veiled chantilly lace bodice and scalloped organza skirt. I really like this one too. A simple elegant option.

And last but not least, and probably my favourite out of the lot;a strapless corset bodice gown with organza textured pleating and organza scallop. I love the way the black opens up to the nude organza and scalloping underneath. The model sure looks like she has a strop on though. Isn’t she meant to look happy? After all, it is her wedding day.
I do, however, believe Miss Wang should have cast some meatier models as this bunch look as if they’re about to collapse from starvation. I thought on-the-brink-of-death-skinny had gone out of fashion…
